Following a referral by my G.P. to an ophthalmic surgeon in April 2008, I was diagnosed with a main
vein blockage at the back of my right eye. During the course of the
consultation, I was only able to read the top line of the eye chart.
On the 24th of April I had an injection into me eye to reduce the haemorrhage.
During a stop-over in Chester on thr 5th June, a prayer team from Chester Healing Rooms prayed for me.
On my next visit to the ophthalmic surgeon (23rd June) after examining my eye, he commented "the
is a remarkable improvement in both the condition and sight". On two further
visits to him, he has repeated this comment and in December stated that if the right eye had been the
only one with vision, he could pass me to drive a car.
On my last visit to the surgeon in January, I was able to read down to the halfway point on the eye
chart and once again he commented on the remarkable recovery given the
serious nature of the blockage.
Other than some drops to reduce the slightly raised presssure in my eye, I have had no other treatment
since the injection back in April.
I have no doubt that the improvement was due to God's grace in answering the prayers of the prayer team,
for which I give him praise and thanks.
