At:  Northgate Church

The training will be held in the Back Hall at Northgate Church, Parkgate Road, off the Fountains Roundabout.   Take the path to the right hand side of the church and the door to the back hall can be seen straight ahead.

Course Fee:   £20

The course fee includes teas, coffees, sandwich lunch on Saturday and all course materials.

Healing Rooms

Healing Rooms provide a place where anyone, who has a need of healing, can receive prayer by a small team of trained people.   There are a variety of people involved in the Healing Rooms team.   These include people who minister to the individuals requiring prayer, people who act as intercessors and reception staff.

The model for the Healing Rooms is the one that has been established by the International Association of Healing Rooms (IAHR) which was founded by Cal Pierce in 1999.     For an excellent overview of the history of Healing Rooms and Cal Pierce’s vision and ministry it is recommended that you read the book:

This training is the first step for anyone thinking they might like to become part of the Chester Healing Rooms Team as anyone wishing to be part of a Healing Rooms team must have attended IAHR approved training.    Following the training, the application process for becoming a Healing Rooms team member will be explained and application forms provided.

            How Healing Rooms Work

            Practical work.

4:30 pm  Questions followed by Close

There will be a coffee break mid-morning and mid-afternoon and a Sandwich lunch will be provided.
